<abstract xml:lang="en">

This study deals with representation of men in contemporary humorous internet memes that target physical attributes, such as body weight, height, and physical attractiveness. With the help of content analysis of 550 memes posted between 2021 and 2025, this research determines the quantitative and qualitative distribution of these humour categories. The findings indicate that men are rarely the primary targets of appearance‑related mockery, aligning with previous research that identifies women as the primary subjects of socio‑cultural body image construction. However, when men are targeted, the mockery predominantly focuses on specific physical traits, including short stature, baldness, low physical attractiveness, excessive thinness, and excess body weight. The contemporary stereotypes and cultural representations concerning male physical attractiveness are ultimately highlighted.
